Satisfied customers are essential for any business. But how do you increase customer satisfaction if the systems within your company do not work smoothly (together) and are not aligned? The risk of losing customers and, as a result, revenue is very high. How do you prevent dissatisfied customers due to faulty systems and ensure that your systems continuously deliver quality and are up-to-date? In other words, how do you make sure your customers are satisfied ánd STAY satisfied?

How to avoid customer dissatisfaction and loss of sales?

If you follow the 5 listed actions and take a proactive approach towards your system management, you will significantly reduce the chances of dissatisfied customers due to faulty systems.

  1. Up-to-date system and use feedback – Make sure that the system is continuously up-to-date. Monitor the performance of the systems and involve the customer. Collect and use customer feedback for quality improvement. Learn from your mistakes and address small issues immediately before they grow into big problems.
  2. Excellent customer service and communication – Provide excellent customer service with open and clear communication. Make sure users can report issues or ask for help through various channels. Be honest about any problems and proactively work to resolve them. Use a good ticketing system in which the priorities are very clear.
  3. User training and education -Make sure your customer’s users and your staff receive the right training to understand and use the systems effectively. Well-trained and informed users are less likely to encounter problems and can often solve minor issues themselves.
  4. Culture of continuous improvement – Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the company, or in other words Agile Thinking. Strive for a mindset in which employees are always looking for ways to improve systems and processes, and the increase of customer satisfaction.
  5. Invest in the right technology – Choose reliable, advanced and scalable technology that fits well with the needs within your own company, but also the needs of your customers. Cheap, inferior systems will, in the long run, cause more problems, dissatisfied customers and inevitable loss of revenue.
